Our Mission
We build up with hearty encouragement and offer strength for the inner man.
After 25 years in the film and television industry, Jack was diagnosed with cancer. It was 2005, when doctors told Jack and Lisa, he had an 18% chance of surviving the diagnosis, laryngeal carcinoma. Doctors took an immediate course of action with heavy doses of chemotherapy and radiation.
He was not a smoker yet from years of breathing chemicals in fumes on the job site he developed what most people consider a smoker’s disease. Cancer treatment ran its course and left his body in chronic trauma. After total failure with chemo and radiation, doctors removed his larynx, lymph nodes, and reconstructed his throat. Currently (2022) he faces and overcomes cancer treatment side effects daily by using God’s word as a weapon in a unique and gentle approach. His body is now responding to this work in miraculous ways.
Jack looks forward to sharing with you how you can take the same approach with whatever you are facing, Come work from the still place in your heart and emerge a conqueror.
This work is not intended to replace medical advice. We do not advocate stopping medications and advise you to discuss all medical decisions with your professional medical practitioner.
Hold to your faith and stand on God’s word.
Life is a series of decisions. Make a couple good decisions and a couple bad decisions – get nowhere fast. Make one good decision after another, step-by-step, conquer any mountain.
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. Joshua 1:8 New Living Translation
Our Core Values
We Believe:
- In salvation through confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. (Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9,10; John 14:6; I Timothy 2:4)
- Only one living and true God with three Persons in the Godhead: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen 1:2; Gen 3:22; Matthew 28:19; I Corinthians 12:4-6; I John 5:7)
-
Jesus was conceived of the Virgin Mary and is the only begotten Son of the Father. Jesus was crucified, buried and rose from the dead. He ascended to Heaven and is at the right of the hand of the Father where He makes intercession for us. (Luke 1:26-33; Hebrews 7:25)
- We are justified (declared righteous) by the blood of Jesus when we repent of our sins and place out trust in HIm. (Acts 13:38,39; Romans 5:1; I Corinthians 6:11; Mark 1:5)
- The baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, is the evidence of the experience. The operation of nine manifestations of the Holy Spirit is important and we encourage people to live so that these expressions of the Spirit be evident in their lives. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6; I Corinthians 12:4-11)
- Water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is an important step of faith. (Matthew 3:11; Matthew 28:18-19)
- Divine healing for the body is available to anyone willing to receive by faith. We encourage all to speak with their medical professionals and follow their advice. We discourage stopping medications without their medical practitioner's knowledge. (Acts 3:2-12; Acts 5:15,16; James 5:14,15)
- Every blessing we receive from God comes through the atonement (Jesus' complete sacrifice for us on Calvary). (Romoans 5:11; James 1:16,17)
- We look forward to the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:10,11; I Thessolonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1:7)
- You must trust Jesus with your life, commonly called, "born again" in order to spend eternity with Jesus. Those who reject Jesus and die outside of Christ will not spend eternity with Jesus Christ and will proceed to hell and will be eternally separate from God and His family. Those who die "in Him" will share in His glory in Heaven forever. (Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:46; John 5:29; Jude 1:7)
- The Meal and Cup, called Communion, is an ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember His sacrifice for us and symbolizes the New Covenant in His blood. We must partake in remembrance of Him rightly discerning the body and blood. (John 6:53-58; I Corinthians 11:23-32)
- God created and blessed the sacredness of the marriage between a man and a woman. We hold to family values as of utmost importance. (Gen 1:28; Gen 2:24; Gen 5:1,2; Leviticus 18:22; Matthew 19:5; Ephesians 5:31-33; Ephesians 6:1-4; Hebrews 13:4)
-
The Book of Acts is ongoing as we continue the ministry of Jesus, through believers in the power of the Spirit. (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 10:38)
